Leslie Zehr left western culture in 1986 to make her home in Egypt. She is the author of 'The Alchemy of Dance: Sacred Dance as a Path to the Universal Dancer'. Leslie was born in Lima, Perú but
received most of her education in the USA. Leslie opened one of the very first Centers for Health and Well-being in Egypt in 1995. She has International Certifications in Hypnotherapy, Touch for
Health and Aromatherapy as well as Diplomas in Homeopathy and Sandplay therapy. She is a Reiki Master and holds a BS in Psychology from VPI, where she also studied Biochemistry. Leslie is Cairo’s
most prominent Aromatherapist. In February 2006 she presented a talk to the Doctors at the National Research Center of Egypt as a way to introduce Aromatherapy to Department of Complementary
Therapies. Leslie’s Shamanic work with plants has led her to develop the Al-chemia Remedies a line of Egyptian Flower and Sacred Sites Remedies. The remedies were birthed between the years 2000-2004.
The last one was prepared on the 8th of June 2004, during the Venus transit when the goddess began her journey underground. The Remedies hold the energy of Egypt herself and can be used for
transformational and alchemical healing. Her main work is with The Universal Dancer which incorporates Sacred Dance and esoteric wisdom. In 2003 she received a strong message that this information
needed to be taken out of Egypt. Since then she has been giving talks, distributing the Remedies and teaching the Dance internationally. As an author she has also published numerous articles on
Sacred Dance, Aromatherapy, Spiritual Astrology, The Mayan Calendar, Personal Alchemy and the Al-chemia Remedies.
